As the title says, I’m doing that. The legacy snowflakes are great but they are leaking and the tires are trash. It’s time for something new.
These popped up for sale locally and supposedly only have a few hundred miles on them. The DOT code says they are over 8 years old. I know you shouldn’t really go over 5-6 years old but if they have been stored indoors would they still be good?
Alternatively, any suggestions for an 03 wrx wagon? I keep jumping on tire rack and either can’t make a decision or the ones I want are out of stock for at least a month. My car is black so please no black wheels.
Pic from a few weeks ago of the car in question, stock legacy 16's I think 18's are too big but would go with 17's.

What about newer Impreza 17 inch wheels.
This is my forester with some painted Gold.

TSW probably makes wheels for you...I quite like mine, light and look well
The front wheels... They have a bunch of different patterns, sizes
Also, the wheels on the wagon are quite similar to the ones on my Mini!

White rally wheels are best wheels
The Sparco Terras were on sale on TireRack back in January. $115 each.
I shop at Simple Tire for all my tire needs. Winter wheels are Sumitomo Ice Edge for $58 each. Summer tires are Pirelli P7 for $109 each. Plus, both sites can finance (usually 0% interest) if you don’t have a lump sum of cash for either.

I never really see those ones for sale and if they are around they have been plastidipped which is hell to deal with

Those are consistently on my short list of ones to get. It’s easy to go with the classic gold or bronze but white would like killer.

Is TSW on tire rack? They surprisingly don’t have any on there but they are also part of the OZ and Sparco family

Not sure about tires, there are a lot of great tires out there.

Wrong bolt pattern :( I need 5x100. I would be all over some of the stock BBS ones if I could find the right bolt pattern

Oh sorry, I guess that’s what you get for having the cheap WRX.

I got LP Aventure LP1s for my Alltrack. They come in 5x100 and 17 inches from what I recall.

I don’t think they are on tire rack. I found them on their own website and then ordered them thru discount tire. Discount tire is one of their official vendors.
Also, TSW were cheaper than OZ or Sparco

I second white sparco terras. Indy 500s for tires if you want a straight summer tire. They were the same price as General Tire all seasons for me

I can get that combo for a pretty great price!

Cheaper than tire rack? 1100$ for the wheels and tires mounted and balanced on them. I’m envious shipping is free to the states otherwise I would have done that

Oh I’m looking on Tirerack, I would go with 17" so after rebates it’s around $1250. Free shipping is key

I’m with you. I have a black GTI and when looking for a set of winter wheels I went with a light gray. I'm just not all about black wheels on a black car.

Yeah with wheels and tires it adds up. That would be my choice and it’s honestly not too pricey. For a wheels layman like me I would think the terras are 2000$ plus for the wheels alone if I didn’t know how much they sold for
